Position: Front Line Manager, Credit Protection

Hours: Monday – Friday 12pm-9pm. (Rotating Saturday’s just to briefly check-in in the morning to ensure systems are running)

Location: This position is primarily “work from home”, but candidates must live in Georgia and be able to come to our Sandy Springs office for required/regular in-person meetings.

Overview:

The Frontline Manager in the Credit Protection department supervises and directs the daily activities of Credit Specialists. The Frontline Manager is responsible for mentoring and leading a team of Specialists who perform a range of functions to ensure accurate and efficient review of loan applications which require additional remediation. To do this successfully, the ideal candidate will be required to conduct call, case and application reviews and document Specialists’ feedback, responses, and follow up activities, including performance management. The Frontline Manager must work closely with Director of Credit Protection to cultivate an environment where pending processes and policies are correctly executed on.

• Direct, supervise and provide development for Credit Protection Team members. This includes providing regular one-on-ones, performance reviews and outstanding leadership on productivity and compliance. 
• Perform training, when needed, of all new policies and procedures as well as communicate key changes to all appropriate departments and their team members.
• Utilize a high degree of independence in solving problems and making decisions. Work within established lending authorities. Ensure duties are carried out in an efficient and cost-effective manner.
• Review escalated loan applications in accordance with established underwriting guidelines and policies, while performing a thorough investigation of credit information from credit reporting agencies and other sources to determine each applicant’s credit worthiness.
• Assist the Director of Credit Protection in coordinating staff for coverage in all related areas of the Credit Protection Team.
• Monitor all production queues (pends, ADQ, calls and cases) to ensure efficiency and productivity of all Specialists and ensure strong service levels performance.
• Work with other Credit Protection leaders on best practices for project completion and prioritization.
• Resolve escalated issues for internal and external stakeholders.

• 5+ yrs of consumer credit risk management or fraud experience.
• One or both of the following - Call center management experience or financial center management experience.
• Demonstrated proficiency and experience in credit risk management.
• Proficient use of Salesforce.
• Proficient use of MS Excel and other MS Office applications.
• Ability to work independently on routine tasks and to flexibly manage multiple tasks.
• Demonstrated time management and organizational skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Skilled communicator with ability to influence others.
