Role Overview

We are seeking a Senior iOS Mobile Developer to help design, build, and scale enterprise‑grade mobile applications. This role plays a critical part in delivering secure, high‑quality iOS solutions that support complex business workflows, integrate with backend enterprise systems, and align with a multi‑year platform roadmap. The ideal candidate brings strong technical depth, architectural thinking, and experience working within large, cross‑functional organizations.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Contribute to technical evaluations, architectural decisions, and solution designs for enterprise business initiatives
  • Execute and evolve the iOS platform roadmap in alignment with enterprise product, security, and compliance requirements
  • Partner with internal mobile engineers to design scalable, maintainable architectures supporting current and future iOS platforms
  • Provide mobile expertise across the broader platform, ensuring consistency and alignment with enterprise standards
  • Analyze complex business and technical requirements and translate them into robust mobile solutions
  • Produce clear technical design, architecture, and implementation documentation suitable for large, distributed teams
  • Support integration and development planning across multiple projects, releases, and dependencies
  • Lead investigation, triage, and resolution of complex technical and production issues
  • Apply strong mobile product and usability judgment to ensure enterprise solutions deliver reliability, performance, and user trust
  • Collaborate closely with Product, UX, Backend, Security, and QA teams throughout the development lifecycle
  • Actively participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, stand‑ups, reviews, and retrospectives

Required Skills/Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, MIS, or a related discipline
  • 5+ years of progressive experience in senior engineering roles (e.g., Senior Engineer, Principal Engineer, Technical Lead, or equivalent)
  • Strong foundation in computer science fundamentals, including algorithms, data structures, and object‑oriented design patterns
  • Proven experience developing enterprise‑scale iOS applications with a focus on maintainability, performance, and security
  • Advanced proficiency with Swift, Objective‑C, SwiftUI, and UIKit
  • Hands‑on experience integrating iOS applications with enterprise backend services using RESTful APIs and secure networking practices
  • Expertise in handling structured data formats such as JSON and XML, using URLSession and libraries like Alamofire
  • Strong collaboration skills, with experience working alongside product managers, UX designers, backend engineers, and QA teams
  • Demonstrated ability to identify architectural bottlenecks, optimize performance, and resolve production issues in complex systems
  • Experience participating in formal code reviews and enforcing coding standards, security practices, and quality gates
  • Working knowledge of secure mobile development practices, including authentication, authorization, and data protection
  • Commitment to continuous improvement and staying current with iOS platform updates, tools, and enterprise development best practices

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience managing the full enterprise mobile application lifecycle, including CI/CD automation, testing, and App Store release management
  • Familiarity with AWS cloud services, Firebase, or other enterprise backend platforms
  • Experience deploying and supporting enterprise software systems across multiple environments (development, staging, production)
  • Prior exposure to regulated or compliance‑driven environments (e.g., financial services, healthcare, or large SaaS platforms)
  • Experience mentoring junior engineers and providing technical guidance within large, multi‑team organizations

 

Our compensation structure is designed to reflect the cost of labor across various U.S. geographic markets. The base salary for this role ranges from $118,000 per year to $162,000 per year. Compensation will be determined by several factors, including relevant knowledge, skills, and experience. This role is also eligible to receive an annual bonus within a comprehensive total rewards package, alongside a full suite of medical, dental, vision, disability insurance, life insurance, 401k retirement benefits, paid time off, paid holidays, and paid personal/sick time.
