Position: VP of Partner Programs

 

Overview:  

GreenSky is seeking a Vice President of Partner Programs to join the Enterprise Outside Sales team (OSS).

 

Reporting to the SVP of Partner Programs, the primary focus for the Vice President of Business Development will be to lead the acquisition and growth efforts with new partners and strategic accounts. The VP of Business Development will work cross-functionally, across teams within sales, marketing, and sales operations. This individual will be responsible for growing the business through new Partners and named Accounts. The ideal candidate will have existing experience, success, and high-level contacts with key industry verticals.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Work with SVP of Partner Programs and OSS to finalize sponsor contracts,
  • Lead acquisition efforts with OEMS and other channel partners,
  • Asses program efficiency and incorporate changes to improve results,
  • Analyze, compile, communicate monthly on program execution results and gaps to stakeholders and executives,
  • Hold monthly and quarterly meetings with each Sponsor for program review to drive further penetration and volume,
  • Coordinate all sponsor events to ensure we have marketing collateral and representation for merchant coverage at the event to sell to merchants,
  • Provide ongoing reporting and support to executive management of the sponsor and GreenSky Management,
  • Coordinate Sponsor training opportunities leveraging the National Sales Trainers at GreenSky,
  • Manage a healthy pipeline of qualified prospects and oversee the full sales cycle from initial engagement through close to ensure consistent revenue growth.
  • Overseeing a portfolio of significant clients, ensuring revenue targets are met
  • Building and maintaining strong, long-term relationships with key stakeholders
  • Build and maintain strategic relationships at industry events to generate net-new business opportunities and expand market presence.

Required Skills/Qualifications

  • 10+ years B2B sales experience; preferably within the home improvement financing or payments space.
  • BA/BS degree preferred.
  • Ability to drive marketing programs between GreenSky and large organizations that generate leads for a sales team.
  • Experience leading web-based client presentations, meetings, and training sessions.
  • Proven track record of sales success and ability to detail your success following a sales process.
  • Demonstrates a passion for excellence with respect to treating and caring for customers.
  • Self-starter who deals well with ambiguity and thrives on the hunt for the deal.
  • Strong written and verbal skills; public speaking experience.
  • Excellent presentation skills and questioning capabilities.
  • Experience in financial services sales a plus.
  • Experience with Salesforce as well as Teams meeting, or similar on-line web-conference software.

 

Our compensation structure is designed to reflect the cost of labor across various U.S. geographic markets. The base salary for this role ranges from $140,000 per year to $150,000 per year + monthly commission. Compensation will be determined by several factors, including relevant knowledge, skills, and experience. This role is also eligible to receive a full suite of medical, dental, vision, disability insurance, life insurance, 401k retirement benefits, paid time off, paid holidays, and paid personal/sick time.
