• Senior Operations Analyst

Location Options:

• Atlanta - GreenSky Headquarters (Hybrid) 

Overview
This role is a part of the Operations Analytics and Business Transformation team. 

Duties & Responsibilities

• Help create strategic analytics projects that lead to improved business performance and drive efficiency in the Risk Operations organization
• Perform deep dives into changing trends to identify performance drivers and potential risks to the business
• Using SQL and python, analyze large volumes of data to identify areas for improvement in assigned area of focus
• Present findings to senior management. Clearly and concisely communicate analysis results through effective written and verbal communication.
• Develop new dashboards, both Tableau and Excel, to help senior leadership monitor risk and department performance
• Work with other analysts on the team to create new ideas, metrics, models, or dashboards that lead to improved operational efficiency
• Ability to iterate on projects and dashboards based on end user feedback

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field such as Economics, Finance, Statistics, Mathematics, Operations Research, Engineering, Computer Science etc.
• Comfortable working with SQL (snowflake) – knowledgeable on how to form efficient queries, tables, views, aggregations, etc
• Ability to program using Python – pandas, scikit-learn, basic functions, etc
• Working knowledge in Tableau and Excel
• Basic knowledge of statistical concepts like regression, A/B testing, correlation, etc
• Strong problem solving, decision making, and analytical abilities
• Flexibility, perseverance, and ability to thrive in a rapidly-changing, fast-paced, and demanding environment
• Skilled communicator with ability to influence others

Preferred Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in a relevant analytical/quantitative role
• Advanced degree in a quantitative field such as Economics, Finance, Statistics, Mathematics, Operations Research, Engineering, Computer Science etc.
• Experience within financial services organization
• Strong ability to work with SQL (snowflake) – CTEs, advanced joins, window functions, etc
• Comfortable working with Python – pandas, transformers, torch, functional programming, etc
• Experience working in one of the following areas: Call Center Analytics, Collections Analytics, Fraud Analytics, Customer Experience Analytics, Risk Analytics
• Experience building data models using raw data from source databases in a cloud data warehouse (Snowflake, Databricks, Redshift, etc)
• Working knowledge of machine learning concepts like: regression, classification, random forests, neural networks, and LLMs
• Passionate about using data and analytics to solve problems and eager to learn about financial services and consumer lending
