Position:  Vice President of Corporate Strategy

 

Location: Hybrid (Atlanta, GA)

 

Summary:

Reporting to the Chief Revenue Officer and collaborating with GreenSky’s executive team, the VP of Corporate Strategy will play a central role in the development, execution, and optimization of GreenSky’s growth and go-to-market strategies. The role also provides opportunities to organize as well as directly lead key strategic initiatives across the organization.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Growth Strategy- Conduct market/competitor analyzes, assess and prioritize growth opportunities, and develop near and long-term growth strategies.
  • Go-to-Market- Analyze sales, financial, and competitor data to develop go-to-market strategies and analytical solutions to optimize sales volume, pricing, and profitability.
  • Strategic Initiatives- Support the process to identify, analyze, and select key strategic initiatives to effectuate our growth goals. Manage GreenSky’s portfolio of strategic initiatives, as well as own and lead key strategic initiatives critical to our strategy.
  • Execution- Drive execution through an iterative, hands-on approach that balances thoughtful analysis with decisive action to achieve near and long-term objectives– translating insights into coordinated plans, implementing practical solutions and frameworks, continuously evaluating outcomes, and adapting based on front-line feedback.
  • Communication- Structure and package your work into compelling presentations and communications that update and influence various audiences, including senior executives.

Required Skills/Qualifications

  • An undergraduate degree in an academically rigorous field (e.g. mathematics, statistics, physics, engineering, finance, economics, philosophy, etc.) with a strong academic record.
  • 7+ years of experience in strategy consulting, corporate strategy, or related fields (preferably with 3-5 years of experience at top-tier management consulting, investment banking, or private equity firm in a corporate strategy role, as well as experience working within an operating business).
  • The ability to quickly switch between thinking conceptually and digging into details to drive results.
  • Exceptionally strong Excel, PowerPoint, and written/verbal communication skills.
