Position:  Director of Operations Analytics

 

Location:  Remote (with travel 2-3 times a month for initial training/transition and then once per month for leadership engagements as needed to Atlanta, GA)

 

Organizational: This position is a member of the ‘Strategy, Servicing and Transformation’ team and reports to the VP of Analytics

 

Role Summary:

We are looking for an analytical leader with a deep business acumen, data analytics skills and strategy experience, to help drive continued transformation within Greensky Operations and partner teams. This leader will be responsible to drive the creation and socialization of strategy decks, MBR production and leadership routines, KPIs development and measurement, and board reporting. The resource will need to be extremely comfortable with white space, with ability to break down complex problems into simple framework elements and drive execution strategy with data driven insights. Leadership presence and presentation skills are paramount to success, to move ideas from strategy/ ideation to execution/ results.

 

The successful candidate will display an independent yet integrated management approach to the business, while embodying GreenSky’s Core Values.  The environment he/she creates would set the example for other teams without alienating them from contributing to GreenSky’s success.  Success would create opportunity to lead beyond just the team, especially as GreenSky continues its growth trajectory.

 

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Leader within the ‘Strategy, Servicing and Transformation’ team, helping shape and drive strategic imperatives for Operations
  • In addition, develop critical KPIs, MBRs and measurement routines for the organization
  • Develop and socialize strategic measurements and progress against KPIs within GSKY executive leadership team and the Board
  • Drive and influence the product roadmap for the organization, leveraging the learning agenda and identifying/ prioritizing the ideas that need IT investments
  • Be a key member of the team analyzing AI opportunities, identify key opportunity areas, assess vendor solutions and quantify the ROI for these initiatives to drive execution
  • Identification of opportunities for operational improvement, cycle time improvement and overall Key Performance Indicator (KPI) optimization
  • Be a leader within the team to help other analysts understand the vision and enable the key development agendas within organizations they support

Required Skills/Qualifications

Required Skills & Qualifications:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, accounting, economics, statistics, mathematics, engineering, computer science or related field
  • MBA preferred
  • 12+ year work experience in financial services industry
  • 8+ year experience leading analytical teams
  • Exceptional deck building and presentation skills, with leadership presence and ability to drive complicated conversations successfully with leadership
  • Results driven and team player, with experience in driving initiatives across a matrix organization
  • Comfortable with white space and ambiguous situation, drive clarity via simple frameworks and data driven approach
  • Exceptional integrative thinking and communication skills
  • Very adept at understanding data, roll up sleeves to dive into data elements and drive recommendations with a data driven approach
  • Extremely comfortable in leadership presentations and ability to foster conversations to drive strategic alignment around complex initiatives
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a continually evolving and dynamic environment, with an understanding that the business cannot pause as new initiatives are developed
