Position: Compliance Analyst (Remote)

 

Organization:

This position reports to the Vice President of Governance, Regulatory, and Partner Compliance in the Compliance department.  This position does not have any people management responsibilities.

 

Role Summary:

The dynamic and growing Compliance team at GreenSky is seeking a motivated, independent, and detail-oriented Compliance Analyst. The Analyst will play a key role in executing projects and driving results related to the Company’s Compliance Management System (“CMS”), specifically those related to consumer complaints management.

 

We are seeking a clear communicator who is eager to solve problems and coordinate cross-functionally with other departments within the Company! The role is well suited for an individual who is an excellent writer with organizational skills and can effectively manage deadlines. This individual should be able to navigate ambiguity and be a self-starter.

Duties & Responsibilities

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Organize and manage the Company’s complaint handling processes
  • Synthesize information and prepare written responses to regulators, consumers, attorneys, and others
  • Implement efficient processes and draft procedures for developing and responding to consumer complaints
  • Work across functional teams and advocate for compliance goals and objectives
  • Manage project plans by achieving key milestones for special projects including identifying roadblocks and taking necessary action to prevent delays

Required Skills/Qualifications

  • BA/BS degree or similar
  • Strong writing skills including legal writing skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • The Analyst must be a strong oral and written communicator with exceptional organization and time management skills.
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and manage deadlines 

Preferred Skills/Qualifications

  • Experience working with regulators and third-party partners to resolve consumer matters
  • Compliance experience at a bank, financial services company, or fintech OR similar paralegal legal experience
  • Salesforce system experience
  • Spanish fluency is a nice to have, but not required
