Position: Corporate FP&A Senior Analyst

 

Organizational: This position is a member of the FP&A Department supporting Greensky’s financial health and growth; reporting directly to the Corporate FP&A Director in charge of the long-term Forecast model.

 

Location: Hybrid (2-3 days/week in our Sandy Springs office and remote)

 

Job Summary:

The Corporate FP&A Senior Analyst will primarily support consolidated Forecasting efforts under the guidance of the Director. Additionally, the analyst will support broader FP&A team priorities such as reporting as assigned from time to time. The role is expected to collaborate closely with FP&A and broader Finance team members to gather inputs required for Forecasting and other assigned tasks.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Supports financial forecasting including P&L (Revenue), Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow/Liquidity items.
  • Help with model optimization & process/input improvement.
  • Research & model financial statements impact for new business lines.
  • Proactively interacts with other FP&A team members, broader Finance and Capital Markets teams to gather the inputs/updates needed for forecasting model and reporting templates.
  • Assists in creating insightful walks between versions of the forecasting model.
  • Provides support to the accounting team on actuals reporting during monthly close cycles and as needed, while continually reviewing the variances to forecast.
  • Identifies resultant action items from the variance analysis and executes on them.
  • Performs other special projects and analysis as assigned.
  • Meets timelines for various deliverables while maintaining excellent quality of work.

Required Skills/Qualifications

  • 2+ years of high-quality financial modeling experience in Corporate FP&A, Investment Banking, Sales Finance or other clearly relevant setting requiring advanced modeling.
  • Undergraduate degree in business, finance, accounting, math or a related field with a distinguished academic record.
  • The successful candidate will be a self-starter with high energy and unyielding intellectual curiosity with excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Possess superior intelligence with a record of increasing responsibilities and success.
  • Ability to work in fast-paced, team-based environment with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to organize and track overlapping tasks & assignments, with frequent priority shifts.
  • Highly articulate and able to convey important messages in a clear and compelling manner. Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience in modeling Securitizations and Hedging as well as relevant Financial Services experience will be favorably considered.

Preferred:

  • CFA and other relevant charter holders or candidates preferable.
