Role:

• Operations Analyst

Overview
This role is a part of the Collections – Operations Team 

• Provide analytical support for business operations and create strategic or tactical recommendations to improve business performance and drive efficiency
• Perform root cause analysis of changing trends to identify performance drivers
• Conduct quantitative analysis and analyze large volumes of data to identify operational performance trends
• Present findings to senior management. Clearly and concisely communicate analysis results through effective written and verbal communication.
• Develop dashboard reports to monitor business performance
• Manage volume and forecast metrics to deliver on long term staffing needs for Operations, aligned with forecasted business growth

• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field such as Economics, Finance, Statistics, Mathematics, Operations Research, Engineering, Computer Science etc.
• Ability to handle large datasets using SQL, R, Python or another similar programming language
• Working knowledge in Tableau
• Strong problem solving, decision making, and analytical abilities
• Flexibility, perseverance, and ability to thrive in a rapidly-changing, fast-paced, and demanding environment
• Skilled communicator with ability to influence others

Preferred Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in a relevant analytical/quantitative role
• Advanced degree in a quantitative field such as Economics, Finance, Statistics, Mathematics, Operations Research, Engineering, Computer Science etc.
• Experience within financial services organization
• Passionate about using data and analytics to solve problems and eager to learn about financial services and consumer lending
