Overview

The Inside Sales Manager position leads a team of inside sales representatives (BDCs) to ensure the close of contracts for partner programs, at defined monthly goals to ensure partner and customer satisfaction.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage a team of 8-12 inside sales reps (BDCs) that contact partners through, but not limited to, phone calls and email, to communicate opportunities to extend initiatives with the company.
  • Conduct selling efforts as needed
  • Lead by example
  • Facilitate new processes, tools, communications, training and methodologies to ensure sales program's success across teams and departments throughout the company.
  • Serve with other departmental management to facilitate relationships among members of these various departments and locations in order to achieve the organization's goals and objectives.
  • Engage in resource planning, reporting, territories, incentives and communications for the assigned team.
  • Participate in client interactions to ensure cross-training, customer satisfaction and management involvement consistently.
  • Ensure reporting and communication is frequent and bi-directional.

Required Skills/Qualifications

  • 5+ years professional sales experience
  • BA/BS degree or similar; good grasp of figures and/or financing terms
  • Verifiable sales success i.e... awards/exceeding quota
  • Must possess strong sales acumen with knowledge of the full cycle sales process from prospecting through to close
  • Must exhibit confidence in self and others; must inspire and motivate others to exceed targets
  • Accepts feedback from others; gives appropriate recognition to others
  • Ability to influence and persuade others and gain acceptance/approval of innovative ideas and products
  • Ability to coach on how to prospect, question and diagnose a client’s issue and follow through
  • Excellent level of personal organization with superior oral and written communication skills
  • Knowledge on how to identify, ask for and secure growth opportunity from a client relationship
  • Resilience and ability to handle setbacks or rejection
  • Must be able to manage time effectively and work independently without direct supervision
  • Excellent presentation and discovery capabilities
  • Experience in Construction or Finance a plus
