Position: Sales Operations Manager of Analytics

 

Job Overview: 

The Sales Operations Manager of Analytics will work in a hybrid role responsible for sales compensation and managing data, analytics and reporting for the GSCP Sales team. This role will work to execute tasks associated with data management, sales compensation, sales planning and forecasting, productivity measurement, process improvement, program development and other financial analysis. The Sales Operations Manager of Analytics will also take a direct role in the compilation and presentation of data; development & maintenance of departmental reporting & dashboards; administration, support and optimization of salesforce.com & other related sales technologies; and development of supporting documentation and job aids. This role reports to the Director of Sales Operations.

 

Location: Atlanta, Georgia

*In January we will remain remote with 2 in office days each week.

 

Organization: This position is member of the Sales Operations team and reports directly to the Director of Sales Operations.

Duties & Responsibilities

  Sales Compensation:

  • Partner with Finance and Sales Leaders to develop incentive compensation plans for GSCP Sales teams
  • Evaluate all GSCP Sales compensation processes and ensure continuous methodology enhancements on monthly and annual basis
  • Maintain compensation models for use in designing, developing, and rolling out compensation plans
  • Implement compensation plans on monthly basis in collaboration with Finance and Sales Leaders
  • Facilitate Audit of compensation on a quarterly basis

  Sales Planning

  • Collaborate with Finance to develop annual goals by sales team, aligning with the company’s business goal
  • Develop and track key KPIs across sales teams to measure strategic goals, milestones and accomplishments
  • Design data modelling for sales territory design and organizational changes

  Data Analytics, Reporting & Metrics

  • Conduct regular and ad-hoc analyses for tactical daily operations, as well as for key initiatives and strategies using SQL and Tableau
  • Develop and maintain Sales and Marketing reports on Tableau
  • Prepare and present monthly sales insights to Sales Leaders
  • Prepare weekly and monthly excel-based reports for Big Merchants and other clients
  • Investigate and resolve data issues in collaboration with Business Intelligence team
  • Collaborate with Reporting Team to develop reporting process for merchants

  Operations

  • Develop and implement automation and process improvement initiatives
  • Manage day-to-day account assignment and book balancing
  • Monitor monthly account hand-off to CGM (Client Growth Manager), account owner update and win-back opportunity assignment.

Required Skills/Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a Sales Compensation, Sales Operations or Finance role
  • Advanced experience in designing and implementing sales compensation plans
  • Advanced experience using Excel for modeling and reporting
  • 5+ years of experience in analytical reporting
  • 5+ years of experience with Salesforce.com
  • Advanced experience using analytics and BI tools: SQL, Tableau
  • Strong analytical, critical thinking, multi-tasking, and prioritization skills
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills for the purpose of communicating, presenting data and partnering are essential
  • Self-starter with ability to take initiative, seek information, work independently, and deliver complete projects in a fast-paced environment
  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Management Information Systems (M.I.S.), Business Administration, Statistics, Management, Finance, Economics, or a related field is preferred.
