    Duties & Responsibilities

     

    • Create a Marketing Service Center to support our merchants’ consumer facing marketing initiatives, including Direct Mail and Email leveraging unique GreenSky value propositions:
      • Consumer Pre-approval offers
      • Best practices related to offers, content, design based on performance analytics
    • Drive all top of funnel activities including Lead identification for large prospects
    • Lead Account Based Marketing initiatives focused on the top end of the Home Improvement market
    • Develop and implement strategies and tactics to attract new merchants within targeted ROI parameters via direct response channels including
      • Direct mail
      • Email and other permission marketing
      • Outbound calling
      • Paid and organic search
      • Social media
      • Other digital channels developed through trial and experimentation
    • Develop and implement sponsor activation programs to generate referred leads and 3rd-party sales by Sponsor partners
    • Work with stakeholders to adapt and hit marketing goals
    • Develop and manage all lead generation programs for outside sales and telephone sales team
    • Understand industry, market and customer needs - identify and prioritize biggest market and customer opportunities to drive current period revenue
    • Create bundles of offers/offerings through experimentation
    • Manage agency relationships and all aspects of direct response campaign execution
    • Partner with Operations and Inside Sales to develop and manage outbound calling campaigns
    • Partner with Technology to develop new website functionality including landing pages and improved application and enrollment processes
    • Partner with Shared Analytics to derive actionable insights from performance data
    • Partner with Sales to ensure coordinated efforts to maximize sales results

    Required Skills/Qualifications

    • 10+ years of marketing experience and leadership in organizations that drive growth in revenue, and customer base growth through direct business-to-business marketing
    • A world-class marketer with a proven track record of success in exceptionally strong product marketing driven companies. The preferred candidate will have successfully led organizations and delivered results in a technology-led organization, fully qualified to help develop new competencies and revenue sources while amplifying prior channels and programs
    • Technical marketing competency is also critical to achieve success in the role. B2B, B2C, B2B2C, marketplace, multi-channel, and general marketing skills will be required to achieve growth expectations.  This includes go-to-market capabilities including traditional plus digital direct response channel marketing.
    • Strong bias toward marketing towards large prospects
    • Strong bias towards Revenue execution as opposed to branding
    • 8+ years of experience leading customer facing strategies
    • Demonstrated strategic skills and the ability to implement strategy across broad organizations
    • 5-10 years management experience
    • Ability to lead, manager and push marketing team
    • The ability to inspire and support people to gain trust
    • Ability to effectively lead in a matrix environment
    • Strong communication skills
    • Must have proven track record of displaying ownership, urgency and sound decision making
    • Flexibility in all areas is a must
    • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution, MBA preferred

     

    Desired but not required Qualifications:

     

    • Experience in the consumer lending industry
    • Knowledge of GreenSky’s business model, products and services
    • Process improvement and Documentation experience
