  • Overview

    The Senior Director, Inside Sales is responsible for managing the Inside Sales function to drive high energy and high results.  This position is responsible for creating outbound call strategy to support market share gain goals and the ability to manage multi-channel Sales strategy. The Senior Director will be required to sell solutions and services to secure new opportunities, maximizing revenue and profitability and increasing market share. 


    Duties & Responsibilities

    • Leads a team responsible for generating revenue through direct sales
    • Develops the sales team overall strategy
    • Executes the sales process by moving new opportunities successfully through the funnel; Primary focus is on account planning for new products in both existing and new users of traditional products
    • Accountable for building relationships with prospective and competitive customers; Key interface in defining customer needs and ability to meet those needs through branch solutions; Serve as the liaison between the customer and for market feedback in regard to issues for new customer escalating any roadblocks to securing the business; Responsible for proposing and closing deals in the above mentioned solutions
    • Targets pre-identified prospects and existing customers within an assigned territory; Partners with other business units to expand cross-sell opportunities; Services local clients, typically with responsibility within a single territory/area
    • Position requires strong prospecting and proposing skills, ability to build customer relationships through consultative selling and promoting customer confidence; Must be focused on the development of new business opportunities and closing new accounts allowing us to aggressively penetrate competitive accounts leading to long term business relationships

    Required Skills/Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s Degree required, MBA preferred
    • 8+ years of related B2B sales experience
    • 5+ year of B2B inside sales management experience leading and developing Reps and Managers
    • Ability to thinking strategically while managing to daily operational efficiencies
    • Proven track record of impacting the performance of others through mentoring and leadership
    • Successful experience in value proposition and business case led selling; Demonstrated performance and ability to sell value through a Consultative Selling approach
    • Strong communication, creative thinking and presentation skills
    • Ability to develop senior level business relationships with account prospects
    • Must be strong in sales training, coaching and personnel development.
    • Experience in a channel selling environment and in software sales preferred
    • Available for 50% regular travel to assigned geographic territory/prospects
